Process Integration for Tetra Pak Poland
Tuesday, 10 April 2007

Newitech is deploying a business process management (BPM) system in the Polish branch of Tetra Pak, a leader in packaging systems for liquid food.

The solution is based on Newitech's proprietary platform, NIL BPM. The system is helping Tetra Pak realize improved quality management by supporting key procedures. The primary goal of the deployment is centralizing access to information processed and archived in separate systems. Secondarily, the deployment will help optimize many critical business processes.

The first stage of Newitech's cooperation with Tetra Pak Poland was analyzing and modeling key business processes. In this first phase, Newitech consultants focussed on procedures that occur between sales, customer service and order processing. For Tetra Pak Poland, these are strategic functions. Thus, each improvement has clear beneficial results.

The NIL BPM system is being used by Tetra Pak Poland to integrate informations about current orders and production status. Tetra Pak Poland's staff can now quickly review the data about the status of orders placed by the clients.

The NIL BPM system is currently being used to implement additional processes for information integration and process management. Terta Pak Poland's staff expertises continues to be critical.
